Faith Jackson, Esq.

I am an Attorney at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, in its Intellectual Property Department, and I am excited to have started my career at the best IP firm in my area. I specialize in copyrights and trademark registrations. Over the course of my Harvard Law career, I studied patent, copyright, trademark; and their applications in fashion, music and property broadly. At Dinsmore, I can not only help you get your copyright or trademark registered, but I can assist you with any IP litigation matter (e.g., patent, copyright, trademark, trade secrets, trade dress, etc.).

I served as a Student Body President at Harvard Law School. I convinced the administration to allow for a fun and inclusive environment, through social activities for affinity groups and other events key for morale and community-building. I also advocated for more mental health counselors of color, for Harvard to extend tenure to Latina professor for the first time, for low-income students to be able to keep their summer earnings, and more.

I worked as a Summer Associate at Covington & Burling LLP for three summers, working on litigation and transactional assignments. I also did a secondment at a pharmaceutical company, Amgen.

I worked on death penalty appeals one summer, helping three different clients navigate complicated legal bases for their appeals. I researched when evidence of a co-perpetrator is material, when a wrong jury instruction on accomplice liability warrants dismissal, and the proper remedy for prosecutorial misconduct with Brady evidence..
